My sister, Evie and contributing photographer, perfectly captured the relationship that my nephew and son share in these photos. Josh is nearly two decades older than Christopher. My son, mischievous and sometimes trying, loved to provoke interaction but sometimes bit off more than he could chew. He always went back for more because the relationship they share is as fresh as a pool full of water on a hot summer’s day.

Very nice photos. Here in Michigan. Still 30 degrees. My Grandchildren are wishing for warm days and the beach.

Beach weather won’t be too far away, although you may have to travel a little south for some sand…wait, I’ve not spent much time in Michigan…do the lakes have sandy beaches?

They certainly do. Boys live by a completely different rule book and often I was worried as I watched them wrestle around but they brush it off when it gets too rough and go back to it when they recover. Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts.
