There are days when I am too shy to speak to strangers but those are days that I just walk down the street smiling at everyone I pass by.
I have found an amazing truth in this exercise: the person I smile at smiles back.
Every time.
It makes me wonder if there is an involuntary response that emerges from deep in our souls.
What do you think?
Have you noticed how people respond when you smile at them?
Give it try.
See how many people you smile at smile back. Then let me know if it’s just me or if I’m right…
people always smile back.
Just wondering…π

A nice read to start the day.
Your husband and I must have read the same books because I tell my employees the same thing – and yes, it works.
It is so much easier to spread joy and happiness than to spread anger and hate. We should all smile more often.
Ok I’ll start: π π π

You are so right! And maybe you and my husband do read the same books…it certainly does work.
Have a great day!

We were having this same conversation at work the other day and decided to force ourselves to smile because it is contagious and soon everyone is smiling. It makes work so much more pleasant.

My husband always tells our staff to smile when they talk on the phone because you can actually hear it in someone’s voice. What a great way to influence your work place. Well done!
